I just realized how messed up this is. So I was suspended for bs reasons having to do with a shift lead throwing me under the bus to protect themselves from the supervisor. So I was given 3 day suspension. Normally, you can use vacation time to fill out hours of a week you missed. But if you are suspended you are not allowed to.
The part that is wild to me is how a jobs punishment can possibly risk missing rent, insurance, any other dues that can easily have really bad consequences. And people see this as perfectly fine and normal.
