Little guy vs. Corporation

I recently put in my two weeks at my job where I manufacture pharmaceuticals, and let me tell ya, It ended worse than a bitter breakup with a crazy. I had worked hard for the last three years, moved up, gained the respect of those around me, but I finally just had enough of poor management and hearing comments from guys like my manager talking about the female manufacturers, which would definitely be considered sexual harassment. During my exit interview I laid out everything I thought was going wrong at the exponentially growing company and knew the response from HR would be to defend the company. I was given a letter that stated I would be paid out my full pto balance, which is about 35 hours. A few days later, I submitted a request to use my last few days as pto and was told I couldn't use those hours because they are paying me them anyways and I'd have to take unpaid time, no big deal. Two hours into my first unpaid day off I received a call from HR stating that they are now keeping my PTO because I “no called, no showed.”. Is this even legal in the state of Michigan? Or anywhere? Since I literally have it in writing, who do I report them to? I just want my money and to be left alone and these insane people want to play games. This is my first career job out of college and a situation like this has definitely taught me some lessons, but I'm not the type to just let them keep my money I earned.
