Not to force the issue onto those who currently work for amazon, but the scope of amazon as a company is honestly inescapable.
To explain what I mean, even if you don't order something from Amazon, it's likely a company uses Amazon to help deliver their goods. For the past year, I didn't order anything from Amazon directly as a form of protest/boycott–I softened up once I heard there were a few plants unionizing, but I still decided to try ordering directly from stores as the Amazon marketplace can tend to be unfair
**Lo and behold, the package arrived with prime boxing because the store I ordered from uses Amazon logistical services to deliver goods
To get back to the main point, pretty soon a lot of our life is going to be dictated by a small group of people (not specifically bezos, but definitely including him). To make sure that this power isn't effectively a dictatorship, the workers of amazon really should reunite to help steer the ship in a less greedy, capitalistic manner
This is more of a rant than a call to arms, but if there is anyone who works for Amazon at any non-managerial level (or even managers who support the idea), please consider unionizing. If there is someone who needs help with their current process, I'd love to help create a post for mutual aid
