Just wanted to vent.
Had 2 interviews. One over the phone and one in person. Place is 50 mins one way. Starting was 20/hr but I haggled up to 25 using my experience, current travel prices and used another interview I just had for 22/hr as leverage. Had starting position set up while orders came in. They had been searching to fill this spot for over a year and were pretty excited that they finally had someone with prior experience to do that.Agreed to come by on Monday. While on my way to sign paperwork to begin my employment I received an Email.
Good Afternoon, Bob told me to let you know at this time he does not want to proceed with making any additional products. He said thank you for coming by but for the time being we are all set. With the amount of work we currently have he doesn't want to add more on top of what we have now.
Seems like I may have dodged a bullet
Job searching again since I turned down the other job for this one which never existed.
