I spent two months interviewing with a large CPG company going through 6 effing rounds and a million HR phone calls, just to get an offer for a position I didn’t apply for (a more junior title) and a lower pay than what they originally said in the day 1 interview. Looks like I’ll be staying at my current job that I also hate because I am the entire department and we’re short staffed as hell. What a time.
