After 20 years from the same company, I resigned and my last day was 3 days ago.
I was at the last department for 4 years. With no promotion in sight and being treated like a 2nd class citizen despite stellar reviews, I was upset so I took a leap and accepted a job from another company for more pay and a promotion.
I was the only SME in the team, heck whole company. Nobody else knew what I do. I was planning to stay for another two weeks to train my team but ex boss had me turn over my stuff a week early. I wouldn't be surprised if hr put non rehire.
Some of my stuff was given to a co worker that I'm friends with. I already spent hours training him this Saturday, now he's asking for another session.
This is upsetting me. It's my boss fault for asking HR to give me another week to work. I'm no longer employed. I feel that I should push back on another training session. Should I tell my friend that he just needs to ask ex boss for the details?
