If we create a #handle, spread it on social media for the next year or so, that way everyone can be on the same page. We can get as many people to help disrupt this horseshit system and show them how much they depend on their average worker.
Plan a year or 2 ahead of time and once we all agree on a future date, we all set aside 1 or 2 sick days to which we all call out on the same day(s). Disrupt their machine by removing the cogs and let them take a financial hit. We make our voices known for exactly why we're calling out with the #handle, but what can they do if it's a sick day or a planned vacation day for a chunk of people? Submit vacation time, if its denied, save a sick day for the event.
We need to show them how much they rely on us and do it by interfering with their cash flow.
