I work for a wherehouse
I'm in shipping we load trucks and stage orders I'll spare you the details of this story.
we have this middle manager. I'll call her Karen she claims to be in her 30s but the way she acts you think she's a toddler. So we were working and she keeps treating me like I'm dumb. she treats everyone that way but today I was done. So I keep talking back to her I'll give you a sample of what happened.
“Raven, outside the yellow line”
“I know that you don't have to keep telling me”
“Yes I do I have to tell all of you that everyday”
“No you don't have to don't insult my intelligence.”
That one just one of the many fights today.
It came to ahead when we are all loading a truck. I offer to help someone load while they scan it. (That's also the rule one person load one person scan)
“If I can both scan and stack X can it's the way we do it.” Karen said annoyingly
“Karen our boss told us that one person need to scan one person needs to stack or we will miss boxes.”
“Raven get back to work”
“No if you say you don't need us and can both scan and stack then prove it.”
“Raven stop it.”
She said Threateningly
“No not when I'm right” I said I was expecting to get written up but then some one jump in
It was X he said “how about you stop it.”
Another one jumped in “yeah if you can do it by yourself then do it”
I knew at that moment that I had almost everyone in my connor. It felt good.
