What the title says. I work for a small local coffee shop part time for extra cash. I had noticed that the drink I bought on my days off seemed higher than usual. Sure enough when I double checked the owner had reduced the discount from 50% to 35%. To my knowledge there was no warning this was going to happen.
We literally get no other benefits and he purposely pays us change because we get tipped well. Especially since other shops in the area provide free drinks and free beans to their employees.
I will no longer be paying for anything I get there as long as I’m employed.
