Told my boss to shut up and it felt good

So long story short I worked at shitty little call center and they were giving me crap for how I talk, literally the tone of my normal speaking voice. “You don't sound happy enough”. I'm over here going hmmmm you pay me shit ie $17 an hour when min wage is $15 and inflation has made those extra dollars worth exactly jack shit, you micromanage the hell out of everyone and even working from home the turnover is brutal and the management was toxic. Last week they gave me yet another write up for not sounding happy. Like excuse me I can't change the way my normal natural speaking voice sounds. Long story short today they did the “formal review” and said I had to come back in office as of Monday and they'd determine if and when I could go back to WFH. I told my supervisor I needed…

I told my supervisor I needed to speak to the CEO before shift, she kept putting me off. I finally said NO I'm not talking to you or anyone else but the CEO. So he makes times to have a zoom meeting and then basically his two underlings and him triple team me and back me into a corner of come into the office or resign, this after knowing I have no summer childcare and can't find any on this short of notice. They go on and on after I point out changing my working conditions is constructive dismissal. the CEO mocks me for saying that. I told him SHUT UP you asshat. He says “Did you call me an asshat and tell me, the man who pays you, to shut up?” I said “Yup I did, what are you going to do about it?” then left the zoom meeting before they could say another word.

No other job lined up but have 10K in the bank once my final pay and vacation pay comes in. I can survive for a hot minute off that.

He'll also face a human rights complaint over the failure to accommodate me for childcare reasons AND I'm going to the Ministry of Labor over his bullshit practices (I'm Canadian)
