We had reviews early this year…and I only get a 2% raise for this year

A bit over 40k, to 41k…Dude…Isn't it fun losing 6% of my wage value this year…Literally at this point Fiverr pays my groceries and utilities, not my FT job lol. (Don't worry, this isn't some kind of guerrilla marketing for Fiverr, they are mfers too and I would absolutely never trust working for them FT because they can ban you at any time for any reason.) I know a lot of people are in this boat, where their supposed “”career”” pays their rent and CC bills/student loan payments if they're luckily, then their side hustle has to make up for all the rest, for the fact that their job does not cover the cost of living… Since I know someone might bring this up (and thanks btw), yes, I am planning on taking the skills that I'm currently selling on Fiverr, and turning them into more of a real freelance…

Since I know someone might bring this up (and thanks btw), yes, I am planning on taking the skills that I'm currently selling on Fiverr, and turning them into more of a real freelance business where I make a fair amount, then jumping ship on my job. 🙂 It's just, now is not really that time, I will keep job hunting though.
