A customer screamed at me until I cried today.

I work customer service over the phone. Usually I am pretty good at separating my emotions from the things customers do and say, but today was harder. This guy screamed and yelled and swore and spoke very threateningly at me until I was shaking. After I hung up, I couldn't stop myself from crying. This is why I don't want to work. I love effort. I love working hard and seeing results like a clean home, a nice meal, produce from my garden, a piece of artwork. But I feel no satisfaction from going to the office, putting on a headset, and getting screamed at for $13.75/hr. No one wants to work. No one has EVER wanted to work because work is nothing more than exploitation. The little guys make a pittance doing the big guys' dirty work and the big guy sits back and rakes it in. Why would…

This is why I don't want to work.
