note: sorry if this doesn’t make sense i am still very sick and very upset
I work at a health care facility as a housekeeper and yesterday they had boosters available, as its a requirement to be fully boosted up(meaning two boosters) to work here, i got my booster.today i woke up feeling nauseous, had a fever and overall i’m feeling like crap. I take my temp and its 100.3 so i call my boss and tell him how i’m not feeling well and how i have a fever. This man tells me to “come in anyways and see if you fail the temperature kiosk” which everyone knows doesn’t work because it always says I’m 96 degrees. Rain or shine, snow or heat, im always 96 degrees, and so are my coworkers. So i go in and the kiosk says 96, as usual. I angrily clock in and then almost pass out. it took me begging my boss to let me go home because ive only called out twice in the nine months ive worked here. He said he was sorry he made me come in but why wouldn’t he just trust me when i say im sick??
