Alright Reddit, we talk a big game here. But what are we prepared to do? Roe v Wade just got overturned, workers rights are at a historic low and being threatened even more, no one can afford to live and the supreme court is already considering overturning rulings that protects certain people from discrimination in the workplace. IMO, we all need to shut this country down. We should organize a general strike with the demand that no one goes back to work until our rights are signed into law and the SCOTUS is held accountable for their actions.
Note: Yes I'm angry and yes I'm speaking through my anger. This is just what I think we should do. If anyone has resources or a way to organize something like this, please comment it. I wanna know how I can do my part.
