As the title says. I saw the doctor yesterday and I told them I can not miss work, not because of a paycheck, because there is no back up help- and corporate said under no conditions should we close, early or altogether. As in, even if we are sick someone HAS to be here or we get fined.
She offered a note, I said that won't help. I'm on medications I've never heard of before and I should not be here. My associate is also sick, and should not be here. They've got the honorable title as manager though, so if I bounce, he's still “stuck” as it were.
I already told everyone I was leaving when they came in, and yet, I feel like I cannot or should not as I'm leaving this person in a vulnerable position. Even if it is detrimental to everyone's health.
