My boss sent out a company wide email on Friday afternoon that said any and all political talk is prohibited at work. I ignored it as I was working from home that day.
But today I decided to reply to the company email and said “fuck your rules.” I haven’t checked my email since and have my work phone turned off. I am probably going to be let go tomorrow when I walk into work. I kind of don’t really care.
In my industry finding a job is as easy as logging into LinkedIn. So I’ll be fine in the long run. But damn I ruined years of goodwill for basically nothing, but I’m actually pretty happy and feeling smug about it. anyways don’t do what I did unless you know you can find work elsewhere. And never let anyone tell you that you can’t speak you mind.
