They emailed me that morning to schedule an over – the- phone interview that very same day (Friday). I dropped my planned errands to practice my interview and got my phone ready at the time we agreed (afternoon). I sat by when the time came and waited until an hour passed, so I decided to call the place to see what was going on. I was told that the hirer had emailed me to reschedule. They didn't even call me after I gave them my number, which would have made more sense than sending an email an hour beforehand that I wouldn't see on time.
Either way, I replied in the email of the times I was available for Monday.
This was on Friday. By sunday, I received an email with the typical emotionless stock “we considered a different candidate” message.
I'm tired of this shit. I'm not dropping my life for these shitty employers. Fuck them.
