I was currently working a job that would be considered to be a dead-end job for meh pay – it was enough to scoot by in life for awhile.
Walked into work today and we were greeted by the owners there was a new “restructuring” of our job duty's, and essentially I would be taking over the job of two people, without any increase in pay.
I finally had the courage to do what I've been wanting to do for awhile and walked out, telling them to consider this my resignation. I was promptly bombarded with.phome calls saying “how can I do this to them” and other attacks.
I'm only a few hours removed from the job, but I already notice a huge difference in my mentality and feel happy again. Now its time to persue some businesses ideas I've been sitting on for awhile and control my own destiny.
