Companies don’t deserve your gratitude for doing the bare minimum.

Corporations don't do things out of the goodness of their hearts. There's an ulterior motive behind everything they do. And no, I'm not being hyperbolic. You should be skeptical of every move that they make. It comes down to optics, their bottom line, or both. They do not deserve our gratitude or goodwill.
