Should I quit my new job after a month for one with better pay?

I'm a recent college graduate, I managed to get a “decent” job (like it's ridiculous that $20/hr is considered good) at a close enough location. I've only been there for a few weeks, and I really like the work so far. I came in at a stressful time and am taking a lot of weight off of people's shoulders, but not taking too much work myself.

However I found a new opening at another job that I am very interested in. I plan on applying, and who knows how that'll go but it's still something I want to do.

But of course there's the classic “jumping between jobs will look bad on your resume.” I know this mindset is flawed, and I'm definitely against it, but I do still feel a little bad possibly leaving. I'm helping people, both clients and my superiors, and it is an important role. I know I should be prioritizing myself, but if I left it would leave a whole, and I know they've had trouble filling it before.

So while I'm not wholly against leaving, it does make me a little uncomfortable. What are some conversation points I can use if I make a transition? Also, what do you say to an employer who looks at your resume and sees you jumping around a lot?
