GFs boss volunteered her for a huge order, promised help, and left her hanging

My girlfriend came home last night and told me the store manager took in an order for burgers and veggies for 250 people, at noon yesterday, due today at 10am. She told him it would be a stretch, and that she would need help as she is already running her dept understaffed. Come to find out, he severely undercharged for the order too, so while meat dept gets money for burgers, and produce gets money for the veggies, my gfs deli dept, literally the best run dept in the company, gets zero dollars from the customer for all this work.

She is moving to the corporate office in the next month, and the schedenfreude of watching that store’s sales tank after she leaves will be delicious.
