Hello nice people from r/antiwork. I am from India. We have a notice period of 3 months here. If I don't wanna complete it for some reason, I have to pay the amount for the rest of the days left in my notice calculated by my per day salary.
I still have a month left in my notice period so I didn't found a new job because I like to do in last days because everyone wants immediate joining. Yesterday my cat died and she's the only one I got in my life so i got really depressed and sad, so I told my manager for 2 day leaves so I can rest and heal up from the trauma, to my surprise he was nice and accepted.
But of course it's a company. Today I got a call from my HR that they relieving me early and today is my last day. So all of a sudden, I don't have job and no income. So hurray! My cat died and here I am, forced to look for a job very soon and sending resumes everywhere. This all sucks very much. I just wanted to rest and not do anything for two days because I am sad and tired.
Finding job will not be very hard for me as I am a programmer and there are jobs available but I just wanted to share this with everyone of you. This actually made me more sad. Fuck the companies! Why don't they have to pay anything if they relieved me early? Why is it always us who are compromising? Fuck them.
Also It's 28th today, so I will not get my salary of this month on 1st July. Instead I'll have to wait for 1 month from today(company policy) for full and final payment. Again, fuck them.
