Did I f**k up big time?

So I (F21) started a new job about 2 months ago working in a medical office. For the first month, everything was going well. When they hired me, they knew I had absolutely no experience working in an medical/office setting before. I have worked as a receptionist in different categories, but never anything like this before. It took a bit of time for me to get adjusted to things, especially because the last receptionist before me had left a lot of things to do so it slowed me down. The practice had 2 doctors with a heavy flow of patients. Only one receptionist (me) and a office manager/billing. Thats it. Just us two. My coworker and I got a long for the first month. She completely 360 and began to catch attitudes and it would make me extremely uncomfortable to work with her. I took one day off 2 months…

I took one day off 2 months in because I was sick. The only other person able to cover me would be the office manager. The day after I came in, since she had an important event to attend so she called out. i did my shift as normal. The next day she had a talk with me about some things she noticed when she filled for me and I let her know that everything was done/resolved. She mentioned that if she notices these things again that the next time the talk would be with the doctors. No problem. The day after that, i arrived to work 3 minutes late, I apologized and she was clearly annoyed. Since I started, I was never late. Then for my second shit of that day, i came in 5 mins before opening and again she asked why i was coming in so close to opening. this is the second shift of the day, everything is set up all I have to do is unlock the door at 3pm. She eventually complained to the doctors that I wasnt doing my work and that she had to pick up my slack. Which i had no idea where it came from. She told me that the doctors wanted to speak to me. A few moments later, the doctor comes to the front area, and out in the open in front of patients began to yell at me and embarrassed me in front of everyone. I was so pissed off but kept my cool. Why couldn't he call me to his office and speak to me privately??? After that, i felt humiliated. I didnt talk to anyone for the rest of the shift. i did my work and at the end of my shift i went to speak to the doctor that yelled at me. i explained to him how i felt and about the office manager. He apologized and said to lets start on a fresh slate tmmr. i couldnt just quit bc i didnt have anything lined up. So everyday after that, everything according to them i was doing wrong and was constantly getting yelled at in front of people. on friday was my last straw, when again i was scolded in front of the patients. i finished my morning shift and left and never came back. I deposited my check that same day and then today i got a hold on my account for the amount of the check. i called my bank to see what was going on bc ive never had a hold in my account and my check had already cleared days before. apparently my job had canceled the payment. so now, im overdrafted and have no job or money. we get paid every 2 weeks so on friday i had completed a full 2 weeks worth of work. Can they do this even though i worked the full 2 weeks? Is there anything I can do to get this fixed?
