I work for a place that has banded levels. Each level has a specific minimum and a specific maximum that pay can't be outside of.
I just learned thst every year in September, people are able to discuss whether they are deserving of a raise and what percentage, up to the maximum.
I keep my team afloat, doing things so that my manager can focus on bigger picture things. I escalate things to her and sometimes ask advice but most of the time I keep myself and the other two in our team trucking.
I've never asked for a raise before. Next month I'll have been here for a year, I know I do a very good job. But do I do a good enough job to push for the whole amount?
