*UPDATE:* I put in my two weeks notice yesterday with my current toxic employer. My new company gave me more than I ever dared ask for.

first post well, as i predicted, i was terminated before i could complete my notice. i wasted the gas to drive to work on Monday (06/27) after a great weekend camping with my family up north. i was catching up with my coworkers, checking emails, and i may have snuck in an hour of bullshitting with my counterpart D (carries the entire warehouse and inventory system single-handedly) before my manager tapped me on the shoulder. i popped into the conference room and there was the head of HR. let me know how much PTO i was getting paid out and when to expect my last check. my manager assured me that they were totally fine, i should just enjoy my time off and prep for my new position. i felt strangely calm about the whole thing, even though i knew a couple of things he apparently didn’t. two crucial people…

two crucial people are submitting their notice this week, and probably have by the time i post this. my counterpart D, and the only projects coordinator C (who is approaching her 3rd trimester). what sucks about C leaving is she’s training 2 new hires while also doing the job of 3 people. reason being, they stole the other coordinator N to put her back in my role, which she had been doing for a couple years before taking the projects position.

we are a niche company in a niche industry, so it is highly unlikely we will find another 2 people with the industry knowledge it would take to put them directly into a role with no training on our industry AND our shitty shitty operating systems.

they asked for this, with their lies, manipulation, refusal to change and willful ignorance of the needs of their employees.

to fuck around is human, to find out is divine.

PS!! let me know if y’all wanna see my responses to the exit interview 🙂
