One of my family members had a rough year with covid causing him to lose his job and a divorce within 6 months of that
He ended up meeting a guy out golfing with his friend. Pure coincidence. The guy ended up getting my family member a job making PowerPoint presentations, scripts, among doing other technological things for the VP and CEO. (I forget his actual title)
He works 3 days in office, WFH Monday and Friday, and openly admits to doing nothing most days. They also all golf constantly, so if he's not working he's on the course just hanging out.
Making 250k a fucking year, AND they offered to put him through a masters next year/a 150k raise once he completes it.
I honestly will never get that lucky. That's the fucking dream right there.
