A close friend of mine works as a store manager at a pep boys. She constantly deals with harassment from both customers and coworkers/superiors alike. She found out today that she's being given until next week to either accept a demotion, or leave the company, due to “unsatisfactory performance” — IE the store isn't making enough money and they have decided it's all her fault, despite the constant lack of support from her employees who don't do their jobs, and the overhead that has been working her over her salaried 40 hours a week since she started there.
Is there anything she can do?
