A restaurant I frequent just raised their prices 20%

I've been stopping by a small BBQ place for my lunch break at least once a week for years. Really good food, really good service. This last week however, I noticed my bill was quite a bit more than usual. I asked the cashier if they'd raised their prices recently, and she confirmed that they had. I then asked her if she was getting paid more. She said no. I walked away thinking that I'm probably not going to eat there anymore, and concluded that we're now at the point where a business advertising “We pay our employees a living wage” would actually be a convincing marketing strategy to earn my business. Show me that you care about your workers and I'll show you that I care about your product.
