Marketing decided to have a meeting with Sales. Sales was not happy we were generating leads and awareness which was taking from their bloated paychecks. With no data to back up their claims, they decided to axe 90% of marketing's responsibilities and my terrible and incompetent boss rolled over and gave in. I am now floating at the moment, rapidly applying everywhere.
I am at a total loss for words. Everything was going uphill. We did everything they asked us for garbage pay and it took one meeting with a jerk to end an entire department. No follow ups, no recourse, nothing from HR or management. They were also taken by surprise as per my boss but they are not planning on doing anything.
