Hey all, hopefully this falls in line under anti-work ideals, because I need information badly. I'm a supervisor at a company that's a subset of a larger corporation based in France. I'm contracted for 2 years with them.
Is it possible for them to contractually keep me from unionizing? How would I evem start unionizing? I live in a “right to work” state, so even though it's illegal for them to fire me for unionizing, they could fire me for literally any little thing as an excuse. Is there a way I can protect myself and anyone else who's wanting to unionize?
Working conditions are getting very bad in South Dakota, and since I can't just quit, I want to try and set up something to protect as many people as possible.
Thanks for any advice!!
