My boss put me on a 30-day PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) I'm pretty sure I'm going to be let go within the next 2-weeks. I honestly don't care anymore and look forward to being fired (I plan on filing for unemployment and getting on food stamps). I know I have at least 2 more paychecks coming in and nearly 80 hours of unpaid vacation time that I have a right to be compensated for. I've started looking for other jobs (had 3 interviews and two more coming up) and have 6-months of wages saved up, my live-in boyfriend will also help with rent and bills.
I'm tired of working, I really would like to just have a part-time job and get back to school by January.
In the meantime, I'm looking for enjoyable ways to spend the next couple of months while I'm not working.
I was thinking of signing up for a month-long yoga class, reading up on co-op history + anarchist theory, volunteering at the cooperative I help start and generally just taking care of household chores.
Any other suggestions? I want to stay busy, but unstressed.
