Accepted a callback to my union job. Asked current boss and company owner for a raise.

Partially just for kicks and giggles but also because I really enjoy my job and coworkers, there’s just no benefits besides a 401k match. I also want to get more management experience but without a significant increase in total compensation, it just isn’t worth losing my union seniority and pension over. If they hit my number I’d probably be the highest paid hourly employee, and I’ve already got a couple co-workers riled up about how much they aren’t making and openly discuss making SIGNIFICANTLY less than I did in the union position. My resignation letter is in my pocket for when I get a response.
