( ranting to vent )
I’m old. Ish. I’m not as fast as I used to be. I have a decent job on a creative industry. And mostly I feel I should not complain.
Coworker goes on medical leave. Dude really needed to, for sure. Stress burnout warning signs all over him.
I get invited into a meeting and find out that the plan is for me to do my job and his job till the end of the project (half a year).
I feel like I can’t say no without letting down teammates and I DO have the relevant expertise but : fuck.
I’m so tired. I don’t want to get another job right now but: this is bullshit. And I know I won’t get a bigger raise, or more vacation.
