So long story short my sister has a learning/mental disability. Social security deemed she can be employed so she works at a daycare. She goes in at 8 AM and leaves at 8 PM yet she only gets paid for 40 hours. My parents spoke to the owner and said her schedule is from 8-12 and 4-8 so she’s technically off from 12-4. Since she doesn’t drive and we’re all work she just stays there. My sister says she still does work during those times but still doesn’t get paid for it. She also does the odd Saturday and still no extra pay! This has been going on for months now and I’ve had enough! What can we do about this ?! Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
