Advice on getting paid

Hello,

I want to start by saying I really like my job and don't want to burn any bridges but…

I started a job in October. Due to a family emergency I had to leave at the end of the month. I started my job back up in January. They had switched to direct deposit while i was gone. It took them awhile to get my bank info so i figured they'd cut me a paper check until it got sorted. I finally got my first direct deposit. The person writing the checks said they'd email me a pay stub. About a week or two later i still hadn't received a pay stub so i couldn't figure out which days they were actually paying me for. Last weekend I finally got two pay stubs but the pay period for the first one started two weeks after I came back to work. I promptly brought it up to my manager that the person who pays the checks. The accountant said they were working on it. It has been a week since i brought it up and I checked on the status with the accountant and they again said they were working on it. The owe money from January and it's now April. I wouldn't think it would take very long to just get me that check. I'm sure it's coming but it's slow. I don't want to take legal action yet but I want them to hurry up.

Is it okay for me to stop showing up to work until they pay me? Or what else can i do?

Thanks!

TLDR: my job owes me money for two weeks in January. Can I stop showing up to work until they pay me?
