I'm a recent masters graduate from science and have done voluntary work part-time for 6 months and also was an intern for 3 months.
I have started applying for jobs and don't know how to negotiate a salary that is basic to my level. I've read posts here about salary not matching inflation, and I'm also confused regarding CTC.
P.S. I'm from India and here we have a salary quoted as monthly or annual, not hourly.
I've read through this subreddit a lot, but are there still any pointers anyone would like to give out regarding the interview, how to look out for red flags etc. ?
