I am leaving in two weeks and wanted to cash out my sick hours , I was going to do it where I did 8 hours every week so it won't be all out once but they said I can't do that even tho it says I can do it with a week's notice which is what i was doing. And now they're saying I won't be able to cash out all of them because it's only the first quarter so 32/4 is only 8 hours . So they said 8 hours is the most they can do but someone who recently has quit told me she got all her sick time paid off into her last check. I don't understand if it's just because it's me or if because they're not legally entitled to give it to me but wouldn't it be discrimination if the girl before me was able to cash hers and I am not able too ?
