Title says most of it. I work at a fast-casual Mexican chain and have been searching for a new position because my hours were cut down after I got Covid and had to take time off to recover. I got an offer from a different fast food Mexican chain that would pay about an extra $.50 to 1/hour, but I'd have to shave my beard to work there.
I'm a trans dude, and a big source of my dysphoria for a long time was growing up and seeing my peers starting to get their facial hair and knowing that I couldn't. I'm scared that if I shave, my mental health will tank because of that, but that extra cash would be really helpful. I don't know what to do here.
