Few months ago I started training for a position. The whole thing was a mess from day1, They were sending me a PC for 3 weeks, The training was supposed to start at 9:00, and we got called at 8:00, just to find out teacher will be at 11:00. “sorry timezones are hard” was the official response.
Now after working for 10 days, I finally got my contract, and to my surprise, they put the 'per year' sum as 'per month'. I am not surprised, they are not good with numbers (which is funny cause the job is all about making sure numbers are right). To make it even better, the same mistake in 2 places in 2 languages ( Small European country working for US company through UK sweatshop consulting company.
How do I proceed with it? I signed right away.
Should I find a lawyer now?
Did anyone experienced anything like this?
This wasn't my dream job, but with the money I could proceed for a year or two.
ALSO, They just employed 10 other people, I am not sure if they have the same “mistake” in contracts, should I ask them?
