I put in my two weeks last Friday. However, due to something very unprofessional my boss did on Th I am quitting today. Everyone around me agrees that what my boss did is unprofessional ( it’s not harassment).
So I am also worried they will try to frame it like I didn’t work this past week or they fired me so they don’t have to pay me for the last week or two. I was having some struggles in the past week which affected work but I have a Drs note excusing me from work this whole week.
But I gotta work to finish my job as I have obligations to those outside of my boss. So the note shows I didn’t quit but had a rough few days and u can’t get fired for health reasons in my state.
If my boss doesn’t pay what is my recourse?
Court sounds very exhausting and if i pursue lost hours I am worried I will damage my reputation. How can I ensure my boss pays me for the past week or two? Thanks
