After 3 years I couldn’t do it anymore

Does anyone here ever try to “stick it out”, only to give up in the end? It’s not your fault. I’ve been there. Pay was decent, but the environment was toxic. Bullies and assholes always made the cut for better spots — even if their individual performance was shit. “Culture” was eerily cult like, and management never felt like a part of the “team”, let alone anyone you could go to if you had an issue. Trailers were hardly ever washed out, so mold covered the floors of trucks we had to pack food products in. Mind you, we delivered to hospitals, schools and local businesses. I guess cutting corners was what made profits though. Of course our equipment was old and frequently broke down, which would be fine if it wasn’t at our expense. Fuck this place. I’m glad I left without notice. Constant rotating doors. Hopefully it bites…
