Unemployment denied my claim. I was fired for refusing to engage in illegal activity at work and UI decoded that the employer (who was already caught in a lie by them) was in the right and i was disrupting the work.
Lawyers say i have a legit case for a lawsuit, but this is just disharthening. In the messages to UI i even specified the laws that the company was knowingly trying to dismiss.
This is happening in Oregon, a state that's supposed to be one of the most employee friendly states.
After being fired i also got rear ended, and due to the incredible ammount of stress, my body has now taken a toll. I fell ill and even tho i know i need to return to work, i physically cannot. With no resources and not eligible for medicare i do not know what i'll do, but wait it out.
