I think the platforms making these lists are just doing it cuz it's popular and trendy. They all literally recycle the same things over and over again. Even when the same platform has multiple lists from different times.
For example I'm looking at a “make 2k by fathers day” list (https://thesmartwallet.com/make-2k-fathers-day/) and most of them are just a stretch.
Flash Awards isn't a “legit” website; you have to jump through hoops with scammy surveys and things you have to spend money on to sign up for. Yeah it could work in theory but come on, really? This is the advice you give people to do?
Or when they say “cash in your receipts!!”.. most receipts don't have cash back options and do you really think people are just sitting around keeping every receipt they have? Come on now..
“TaKe oUt A lOaN!” Lmao this is the advice you give people?? You just want us to ruin our credit 🤦️ if someone's looking for a way to make $2k, I'd doubt they'd just be able to up and get a loan and pay it back… if someone could take out loans, they probably would already. If people are on these lists, they aren't in a position to just get a loan. You're not “making” money; you're borrowing money and have to pay more money back than what you even got. Let's use some logic here.
“Help paying credit card debt” isn't giving me $2k by fathers day. Why is this even an insert? Yeah in other circumstances it could come in handy but this isn't MAKING any money…
Then you have the typical scammy games. Even if they aren't scams, they pay you close to nothing. You'll have to damn near go through the whole game just to get a decent payout.
Invest in real estate? Really? Yeah that could work but I doubt you'd make $2k that soon off of investing in real estate. Which is already a gamble itself and isn't an actual way to make money without investing money.
Then they share spammy apps like Steady. Yeah Steady COULD help you find gigs but majority of the posts are just spam, spamming the same thing these lists are spamming.
Not to mention all the apps, games, platforms they tell you to sign up for but then you have to have the app downloaded for months, a year, just to hit $100. $5 in 48 hours to play a game… it's bs. Yeah it might work but $5 for 2 days isn't ANYTHING close to “$2k”. You have add apps that'll pay you to show ads and probably pay you 50 cents a day. This is not a legitimate way to make anything. More annoying than it is beneficial.
Like these lists are really bs. And every list is the exact same thing, maybe 3 things changed. But all the same principle.
And they get PAID through traffic to make these bs lists. Like come on now.
Even taking surveys isn't worth it. But I'm almost at $10 with Survey Junk and plan on at least tryna make $30 from it. But even then, it's a constant grind for a few dollars and it's bs.
Honestly making money should not be THIS hard. Having a job or selling drugs shouldn't be the ONLY way to really make money nowadays but it seems it's the only way unless you already have money to invest or if you're fine slaving away on some third world prices.
