As the title says. My boss is putting me on probation. Why? Because the wrong version of a document saved to our server and the person that was supposed to review it didn't tell me it was so messed up they weren't going to review it. They instead waited 2 days and then went to my boss and her boss and told them I wasn't doing my work. And I'm getting probation because a few months ago we had flex hours and I would take my kids to appointments during the day sometimes and work at night if nothing was urgent. People who asked me for something never waited more than an hour to get it. But when I found the right version (thankfully, im anal about backing up) and sent it right over, they decided the probation was still on. I have been very vocal about wanting a raise this year since we didn't get any last year and I think this is perfect timing to deny my raise. F*ck these corporate *ssholes. I just want to garden and sew and woodwork all day. Too bad I have a mortgage and 3 kids that have gotten used to regular meals.
