I can't take it anymore. I'm currently down with covid and all I can think about is work. It isn't just that there's going to be a bunch of backlog when I'm back, but also my colleagues are making me feel bad for being sick and expecting me to do work as I serve out my self-isolation (I was going to anyway).
My work environment is filled with gossip mongers who pride on going home late and of course, very cliquey. Turnover rate is especially high and those who leave are often those who are alone – says something, doesn't it. I plan to tender my resignation but that's still 8 months away and I doubt I can get a job as high paying as this one at my education level.
Anyone else experienced something similar and if so, how did you deal with it? This anxiety and dread is killing me.
