I posted about my situation but here’s a synopsis: new boss came in, took away two positions that I needed to help me do my job as supervisor. Also reduced hours of many people. I put in my two weeks (he even guilted me saying for management, the notice is usually 1.5 months). I also asked to take the last 2 weeks off and use up my PTO, which was denied. I’m ok with it though, I’m just gonna take the hit on the taxes.
It’s been less than a week, and I’ve already got a few offers, and the one I accepted pays the same with fewer responsibilities, basically no management duties. Guess who’s going to invite overworked and underpaid friends to transition to the competition?
It’s me. I’m going to do that.
