I'm nearing 50 years old, some health problems, but I have nearly twenty years in the construction industry. I've managed projects from $10k to $20M. I've never been one to rock the boat, been content with my 3.5% COL raises. I can't help but feel I'm selling myself short. I outork my help, just to get the job done, but I pull down less than $75k/yr. Bonuses are $5k or less per year. If I leave, I face being on the road for better pay, but time away from home. Now I realize why I tell the young people in my crews to gtfo of this business.
