I’m from Europe, but Americans have to pay like 30k$ for their college. Most of teenagers don’t have that kind of money, so they take a loan. But how is it responsible to take a loan at this young age?? I’m 18, and knowing I have technically negative money would make me really depressed.
I study, work and invest, so I can have a positive number on my bank account, but if I was an american, the money I made wouldn’t cover even half of what I’d have to pay for my college.
I just think it’s dangerous for mental health to enter adult life with negative number of money and then just work for free, to the point when you have your loan paid off.
