I work for AMZN and constantly take calls for carriers and it irritates me so much how they treat their driver and carriers! I constantly get calls about being shorted on a trip, disputes being submitted that never get resolved as far as payment issues so now carriers need to wait weeks for PAYMENT issues to get resolved. These people have families and literally every little thing affects their performance that then affects if they’re able to pull loads or not. In training we are specifically told that no matter the sob story we need to adhere to company policy but realistically company policy is burning bridges with carriers to pull the freight. When we make trip adjustments we are told to $0 out the rate value which forces the carriers/drivers to submit a case and takes us back through the cycle again. It’s super frustrating bc obviously there can be a better system in place but the entire vibe that AMZN gives off is that these carriers/drivers are expendable which, let’s be realistic, what major company does not think that way about their employees/partners. Low key, I’m wishing for their downfall bc it irritates me so much how they treat people. So if you are a trucker, I do not recommend pulling freight for AMZN. If you have pulled for AMZN, I would appreciate a comment of your experience with working for them!
