Hi guys
Please see attached
There is a lot of abuse in terms of the food they are taking. They are allowed to eat what they like, even up to twice a shift, and even then they end up taking a lot of food, and the truth is not fair, that is already abuse, so from now on, nobody can take no food at end of shift. We tried to be understanding, but it was overused, so the benefit was lost. (And this is something I mentioned many times, no surprise) So if someone wants to take something, anything (even some chips) they have to message Jim or me, otherwise nobody can take anything. If someone decides to take something without consulting, it will be deducted from the check.
The same with the time of entry, if there are no caterings, you already know that their entry time is at 9, not 8:45, not 8:30, but 9. The same with the afternoon shift, entry is at 4 (or preprunner at 5) not 3:45, 3:50, etc. They have already been told the same way many times, so from now on, when I do the payroll, if I see that someone clocked in before, as simple as I am going to adjust it as if they had arrived at 9, and that time that they did clock in before its not going to count.
The same with the departure time, it is your responsibility, not mine. Each payroll I have to be checking person by person because they always forget to clock out, so from now on, if someone didn't clock out, I won't clock out at 10:15, 10:20, etc, but at 10, so I'm sure that everyone is going to worry about doing their clock out properly. We had already discussed that, two people are put on the schedule so that so many hours are not lost when it is slow, but it is not a reason to abuse. If they are told that they are going to leave at 8, let it be at 8, not 8:30, 8:45, because in the same way it will happen if they are going crazy just for not clocking out, the kitchen It will say at what time they were told to leave and until then it will count. Best
